Boxing continues to heat up in the DC area in 2009!
Jimmy Lange's defeat of Jonathan Reid in September, and last weekend's all female boxing event that saw 120 lb Tyreisha Douglas win a third round bout over Alexandria Virginia's Quishana Fowler in the 2012 'Road To London' event out at Rose Croft Raceway, (see pics here), was just a precursor for upcoming boxing events in our area.
BabieGirl Production is putting on another exciting boxing event. Make plans for Fright Night on Oct. 24th at the Washington Convention Center.
The event will feature the likes of heavyweight Seth 'Mayhem' Mitchell (the next Mike Tyson, minus the drama) going up against Bert Cooper. Also featured will be Henry 'Sugar Poo' Buchanan vs Bobby Jordan, Jr.
Even Hip Hop artist, Wale will be in the house. More >>.
