The Skins lose to another undefeated team, and well, it's too painful to talk about. With a 10-2 lead at the half, and a seemingly 'we got the W' going into the third, the Skins let the Carolina Panthers claw their way to a 20-17 win.

The Wizards Fall In Preseason Action
Not even Antawn Jamison's 21 points could help the Wizards to a win as they lost 100-93 to the Toronto Raptors in preseason action on Sunday. With Sunday's loss in Toronto, the Wizards are now 1-2.

Junior outside hitter Gazelle d’Artois (Newhall, Calif./Hart H.S.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the league announced today. It was third consecutive week that d’Artois has garnered the honor.
d’Artois recorded 51 kills while hitting 48-percent from the floor to aid the Lady Bison to a 2-1 mark last week including a 2-0 record in MEAC play. In a loss to Lafayette, the outside hitter posted a double-double of 19 kills and 17 digs. She tallied a 63-percent hitting percentage in a 3-0 sweep of Coppin State and followed that performance with 20 kills on 35 attacks in a win over Morgan State.
The Bison host Navy on Tuesday in non-conference volleyball matchup at Burr Gymnasium. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
