The DC Sports and Entertainment Commission and DC Rollergirls today announced the 2009-10 DC Rollergirls schedule at the DC Armory.
The District’s own all-female roller derby league brings hard-hitting, rough and tumble skate action back to the DC Armory beginning Sunday, September 27 with the league championship set for Saturday, April 10.
The league’s three teams - the DC DemonCats, Scare Force One and the Cherry Blossom Bombshells - play a total of six regular season bouts prior to the league championship bout. In addition, the DC All-Stars, comprised of members of all DC teams, will host and compete in two special non-league bouts during the season (complete schedule listed below).

Moses, CEO of the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission. “You can’t beat the overall fan experience at Rollergirls’ bouts - there is energy, excitement and serious competition as well.
