Annual Celeb Classic Kicks Off In Fine Fashion

WPGC radio personality, Big Tigger, began his 8th Annual Celebrity Classic HIV/AIDS awareness campaign today with a youth sports clinic at the Trinidad Recreation Center where athletes tought area kids football and basketball drills and skills. The session was later followed by an HIV testing initiative where the community could get free HIV testing and status information.

The photos above are from the welcome reception & silent auction held at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza with the support of DC Delegate, Eleanor Holmes Norton; NFL cornerbacks Anthony Henry, Dave Jones, and Alan Ball; along with Hollywood's stars, and community activists.

Today's event includes a block party and health awareness fair at Trinity University, followed by the annual all-star celebrity basketball game, also at the university.
