Head coach Jim Zorn, Vinnie Cerrato, and Dan Synder talked to the media during today's 2pm Redskins pre-draft presser.
Here's what I took from it as I listened live.
Regarding the quarterback 'quandary':
"With Jason we are going full speed, and he is every bit handled as he is our starting quarterback - in word and in deed. It's our offseason program and we're going as if nothing has changed."Zorn continues to say...
"Nothing is etched in stone. It's a wait and see and we want to be ready if and when the opportunity arrives."
On looking at Mark Sanchez...
"I'd rather wait to talk about player evaluations on a guy that isn't even on our roster. That will have to wait until after the draft, really."
Cerrato on media rumors...
"When you're telling the truth, nobody believes you."Redskins Draft Day Party at FedEx Field this Saturday.
Dan Synder on what Draft Day is like for him...
"You have to be patient. It takes a log time to get there. It's hurry up and wait. It turns out to be exciting and fun, and we've been fortunate to get what we want, most of the time."
This could be why Snyder spends millions for players...
"I'm always going to be aggressive. I didn't buy the team for an investment. I bought the team to win a Super Bowl."
