As The NBA Playoffs Advance, Wizards Reflect On '09 Season

The 2009 NBA Playoffs are in full affect. And as teams prepare and advance to the next level, a few of the Wizards take time to reflect on their 19 (w) and 63 (l) season, and look ahead to the next.

"The main thing you want to do is get this taste out your mouth, so preparation is definitely the key",
said Wizards' guard Mike James.

(1963 was a good year - somewhere).

Wizards win NBA Draft tie breaker, and officially announce (what has been speculated for weeks) a 4-year, $18m deal with new head coach, Flip Saunders.

Media press scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday).

I think the Wiz should be a good team next year. Players are getting healthy, and hopefully they will have an organization that can gel for the upcoming season.

The players are definitely talented, and need to show that night after night in this league.

There can be no pockets of fury one night, and then play less than stellar the next.

Go hard each night. (most are hard everynight anyway)

The Wizards need to get serious about the future of this franchise. Is Grunfield serious about this franchise? Will he ever be happy with a coach like Flip Saunders?
