The Philadelphia Eagles will 'fly Eagles fly' to Washington to be honored at the White House by the Trump administration.
Per a gem dropped by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt during today's press briefing, "the Eagles "enthusiastically accepted" the White House invitation.

Social media was all abuzz with posts claiming the Superbowl Champions would not, or did not, accept a President Trump invitation. This may stem from the 2018 incident where the team saw then-president Trump make disparaging remarks after players took a knee during a game in support of Colin Kaepernick's efforts to bring attention to the police brutality, murder and treatment of Black citizens, a practice that still occurs to date in American cities.
With the president in the stands watching (see highlights) the Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, in Super Bowl LIX (after losing to them last year), the president said the team, "deserves" to be in Washington.

"They deserve to be down here, and we hope to see them", said the president.
The visit is scheduled for Monday, April 28th.
