USA Men's Soccer Team Visit The White House

Visit Took Place As President Tours Moscow

Four members of the USA men's national soccer team took a White House tour, arranged by Matthew Cutts, Board Chairman of the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission, on Tuesday afternoon.

The USA team is in Washington, D.C. to play Honduras in the 2009 Gold Cup at RFK Stadium tonight (Wednesday) at 9 p.m. Additionally, the CONCACAF Gold Cup will be held on the historic field of RFK Stadium when Haiti meets Grenada at 7 p.m.

The team did not get to meet the president as he is on a two day diplomatic visit to Russia, with a trip to Ghana thereafter.

While the Gold Cup will be played for the first time at RFK, the stadium is not new to hosting special moments in soccer history.
