It isn't that bad.
The Washington Commanders (4-2) were seemingly no match for Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens (also, 4-2).
But let's not be so hard on the Commanders, for these reasons I'll outline below:
They lost by only 1 TD.
They played Lamar Jackson, and THE Baltimore Ravens, for crying out loud.
Lamar Jackson, even though he may respect J. Daniels, wasn't going to let any rookie QB (from DC) come into his home turf and win. Mission accomplished.
Additionally, if the Ravens were really ballin' like that, they would have been a much tougher nut to crack and would have put more points on the board against a team that is (again) rebuilding, and as mentioned, stars a rookie QB.
It was a one TD win, people. A one TD win.
Moreover Washington, like Baltimore, STILL remains FIRST in their division. And that's saying a lot from where this Washington team has come. Pick a year. Any year. (Except that one).
Washington will meet the 1-5 Carolina Panthers this Sunday at home.
Washington should beat them, right?
