Former Skins Coach Has "No Animosity" Toward His Former Employer.
Jim Zorn as the 2009 head coach of the Washington Redskins.
As the Redskins prepare to take on the Baltimore Ravens this Saturday in the second preseason game at FedEx Field, former Skins head coach, Jim Zorn, has let by-gones be just that, by-gones, telling reporters he holds "no animosity."
First of all, why would he hold animosity? He was given the chance of a life time (for a person with no NFL head coaching experience).
What was done so bad to him after him giving fans such a bad season last year that would warrant Zorn having ill feelings toward the Redskins?
Oh, that firing thingy. (But that was rightly justified. Wasn't it?).
In an interview for the Baltimore Sun, Zorn (in his Zorny way of answering questions, still) tells the reporter he kind of wishes his old team well.
"I got close to some of those players that are on that team, so I kind of wish them well. But we all move on. My concentration is now to help this football team win. I’m really excited about being a part of the Ravens. I don’t spend a lot of time, saying, ‘Gosh, oh, gee whiz, I’m not this or that.’ We’re all concentrating and focusing on this football team and that’s it."
Zorn was fired upon return to FedEx field after a 20-23 loss over San Diego, and helping to end the season on a dismal 4-12 note.

Recap: Skins win over Bills.
Buffalo revamped their team this year, too. Firing just about everyone on its coaching staff. Successful? Not so much. At least not by the looks in the first game of the preseason where the Skins beat them 42-17. But then again, it's only game number 1.
While the Skins have their GameDay preview of the Baltimore Raves, the Ravens make no mention of Saturday's game with the Redskins on their web site.
Are the Ravens sleeping on Washington?
Take a look and decide.
Coach Shanahan quote of the day:
..."Once you represent this organization, you want them to represent it the right way.” (Commenting on his #1 draft pick, Trent Williams, getting a speeding ticket in early June while driving 90 mph in his Porsche on the Dulles Toll Road .)
