Mark Your Calendar for the 6th Annual Mickey Steele Memorial Golf Outing
The Mickey Steele Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Friday, May 21ST at Queenstown Harbor Golf Links in Queenstown, Maryland. Over 325 golfers are expected to play with the shotgun start scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
A host of Redskins alumni including Jeff Bostic, Gary Clark, Pat Fischer, Joe Jacoby, Jim Lachey, Rich Milot, Neal Olkewicz, Ricky Sanders, Charley Taylor, Doc Walker and many more alumni as well as current Redskins players Chris Cooley, Colt Brennan, and H.B. Blades will join Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien at this charitable event.
The Mickey Steele Memorial Golf Outing raises money for charities that work to improve the lives of children. The tournament is named in honor of Mickey Steele a Maryland native, sports enthusiast and business owner who in 2004 lost his battle to Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). His friends, family and former co-workers gather annually for the tournament and have raised tens of thousands of dollars for children’s charities.
