You Should Be There Too, Mr. Scott!

I saw this article on the 'Net tonight about NASCAR driver,Wendell Scott.

Scott, who broke the color barrier in stock car racing in 1952, broke several racing records as well. The article continues to state that many consider Scott to be the Michael Jackson or Jackie Robinson of NASCAR. Just like Jackson and Robinson helped to integrate MTV and baseball, Scott did the same for NASCAR.

He was the first Black driver ever to win a NASCAR race.

Although Scott, a native of Danville, VA was inducted into the 1999 MotorSports Hall of Fame he didn't make the cut for the 2010 inaugural NASCAR Hall of Fame Class.
