There will also be no new tax increase.
"I did not sexually assault Andrea McNulty", contends Pittsbugh Steelers' quarterback Benjamin Roethlisberger in about a 60 second press conference today were he told reporters he plans to fight his alleged assault on the Lake Tahoe casino worker.
Ben further states:
We're certainly not the jury, nor the judge, and we weren't there to see what really happened in the Roesthlisberger case (or any other), however, one has to ask: Are all these alleged victims just crying wolf, or is there a bigger issue here?
Let's take a look shall we?
Kobe Bryant: "I didn't force her to do anything against her will."
Bill Clinton: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman!"
Mike Tyson: "I have done no criminal conduct. The jury said I did."
Big Ben: "I would never, ever force myself on a woman."
When it comes to athletes telling the truth about their alleged sexual indiscretions, we haven't heard the truth since 1991 when Earvin 'Magic' Johnson announced he has AIDS.
Be like Magic, guys. See what a world of good he's done by eventually telling the truth?
The truth, shall set you free. Let the truth prevail.
Amen!

Ben further states:
"Saturday was the first that I learned of her accusations. Her false and vicious allegations are an attack on my family and on me. I would never, ever force myself on a woman. I want to fight to protect my family and my reputation. I'm not going to discuss my private life or this civil case in the media. I'll respond to her outrageous allegations in the appropriate forum. I have an obligation to our fans, to my teammates, to my coaches and everyone in the organization to remain focused on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I will do that. The allegations against me are reckless and false. As much as I'd like to answer everyone's questions, I'm going to respect the legal process and I am confident that the truth will prevail. Thank you."We've heard these statements before, from presidents to ballers.
