Yesterday we told you there was possibly some beef (stew) brewing between Clinton Portis and Jim Zorn.
I'm confused as to why Clinton thinks he's the problem when clearly he's done everything he can do this season to help the Skins put points on the board and win games.
I'm hearing coach Zorn say Portis is finally fine and healthy, (even though he played with several injuries this season), and that he was not benched during last Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Then these guys (who like stirring the pot) come on their show and say Portis was benched for the 2nd half of the game.
Clearly they're not listening to the guests on their own show (or simply are calling them a liar).
Whether Portis was or was not benched, whether Zorn has an issue with Portis, and whether Portis thinks he's the problem, we don't need this now!
Now is NOT the time.
Portis is invaluable to the team (despite the "running backs are a dime-a-dozen" remarks some reporters make), and we need all the man strength we can muster to get through the rest of this season.
Let's play out these remaining games (Bengals, Eagles, 49ers), stay focused, and get the wins.
Use the offseason (especially this late in the season) to discuss whatever so-called player/coach discord there might be.

It's bad enough when we lost to the NYG, and the Steelers beat them - but this is ridiculous.... on so many levels.
They can't afford to lose either one.
