Wow!
What an image. Probably one many have never seen before!
I was at a book store in NW D.C. today and happened upon a book by Deborah Willis. Inside are some of the most amazing photographs by African American photographers of our time.
So, when I get back to my computer, of course I Googled the book, and came across a photo I had missed earlier as I skimmed through it.
Take a look at this picture of an all female basketball team, (circa 1930s), taken by Allen E. Cole.
Since I've been on the female basketball player tip today, I thought I'd add this bit of info in as well.
