April 18, 2007 - The Washington Wizards face off with King James, on his court, in the first round of the NBA Playoffs and Wizards' Gil Arenas is talking - literally.
Having shyed away from regular media interviews since returning to play action after his 66 game hiatus while recovering from knee surgery, Gil finally speaks.
“We’re excited. We haven’t been together in the playoffs for two years. There's a lot of hype in this series, and we’re ready to get to Cleveland.”
Having said that, the Wizards now with Arenas and Butler back in the lineup, have fans excited and also wondering if the our hometown team has enough 'tough juice' to last throughout the series.
“Everything is in place," said Jordan. "We’ve got guys in practice. They’re really intense. They’re ready to play. They’re having a lot of fun. It’s just exciting. It’s a great opportunity and we are very proud of where we are.”
Wizards were swept last year in the playoffs by Cleveland, and by all accounts Cleveland isn't going to hold back any punches this season either.
Let the rivalry begin.
Oh, my bad, it already has.
Game One of the series starts Sat, April 19 at 12:30 pm ET in Cleveland.

I say let him bring him. We're stomping all over him and LeBron 'King' James.
