Citi Open has Rafa Nadal, and we're here for it!

After sitting out Wimbledon 2021 Nadal will grace the District with his debut performance when the Citi Open begins July 31 - August 8.

Nadal is ranked No. 3 by the Association of Tennis Professionals with career stats that include 88 ATP singles titles, 20 Grand Slam singles titles and 36 ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles, per the ATP website.  

Nadal joins local fan favorite, and No. 29 ranked Francis Tiafoe, Jr. as well as the No. 23 ranked Coco Gauff. Other players expected to participate include Denis Shapovalov, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Karen Khachanov & Hubert Hurkacz. To see the complete player list click here.

The tournament is played at the Rock Creek Park Tennis Center and has been instrumental in growing the next generation of tennis players by supporting local tennis organizations like the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation.
