Baltimore native and reigning Oklahoma City Thunder MVP, Kevin Durant, gave what possibly could be best MVP speech and Mother's Day gift of all time, at the same time.
While thanking fans for awarding him the 2014 NBA Most Valuable Player, Durant also thanked his grandmother, father, and his brother. Lastly, he thanked his mother for providing for him and his siblings while growing up under difficult circumstances.
"I don't know how you did it", a tearful Durant said. "You kept us off the streets, fed us, put clothes on our backs. You the real MVP."
A heartfelt, thunderous speech that made us all stand up, cheer... and cry.
