Out At Redskins Park

While fans still have the sour taste of a loss to the 1-6 Carolina Panthers last week at home, the Washington Redskins make roster moves leaving fans asking:  and this will help the team win games - how?

Man, the only thing good about last week was the Alumni Reunion at the so-called Homecoming.

But that aside, the Redskins made the following changes this week:

The team waived cornerback David Jones and long snapper Justin Snow.
The team signed cornerback Domonique “D.J.” Johnson to their active roster from the practice squad.

The team activated long snapper Nick Sundberg from the Reserve/Injured list (designated for return).

The team announced that Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform tackle Jammal Brown has been cleared for practice.

The Redskins have a Bye Week and here we are again this season being told that they will be ready to face their next opponent after the Bye ---- when they HAVE NOT practiced ---  while losing to teams like Carolina when THEY DO practice.

We're not bye-ing the hype.

Meanwhile, if fans want to see real entertainment at FedEx Field, not provided by Washington's football team, they can check out four-time County Music Award ‘Entertainer of the Year’ winner Kenny Chesney, and Eric Church, the 2012 CMA ‘Album of the Year’ winner, when the pair unites for the ‘No Shoes Nation’ Tour which will stop at FedExField on Saturday, May 25, 2013.

If you're asking why we're plugging this event so far in advance, it's because tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. (and we got the email).

Back to the Skins...

The Redskins face another struggling team this Sunday, at home - Mike Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles.

It will be interesting to see which quarterback will prevail. If the Redskins DO NOT prevail, their Bye Week won't be the only thing going by the wayside.

Can you say #seasonover?   Can you say #unhappyfans?
