Poet, Former Wizard, Talks Fatherhood

Former Washington Wizard Etan Thomas, known for his poetry (see More Than An Athlete), has definitely caught the book writing bug.  His latest book is titled, Fatherhood: Rising to the Ultimate Challenge.

The book's Foreword was written by none other than Tony ('Your Secret's Safe With Me') Dungy. You can't go wrong when the book's forward is written by Tony Dungy.

Thomas will discuss and autograph his book at the Hyattsville Bus Boys and Poets on Wednesday, May 9th.

He'll be joined by a few of his friends to mark the occasion.
Joining him will be sportscaster Lou Holder, Laron Profit (former Washington Wizard, ESPN 980), Roger Mason Jr. (Washington Wizard), Ken Harvey (former Washington Redskin), Jeff Green (Boston Celtics), and Michael Walton (Olympic Sprinter).

For more info, visit www.busboysandpoets.com. Perhaps they'll explain why the book is being pitched so close to Mother's Day, instead of Father's Day.
