"Hopkins vs. Dawson: Once And For All," a 12-round bout for Hopkins' WBC and Ring Magazine light heavyweight world championships, is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Gary Shaw Productions and sponsored by Corona, AT&T and Caesars Atlantic City.
Also featured will be a 12-round heavyweight battle between Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell and "The Gentleman" Chazz Witherspoon (30, 2, 22 KOs) for the vacant NABO heavyweight title.
This will be Mitchell's first outing as a 12-round HW contender.
Said Mitchell, I'm not worried about going the distance at all. I'm just excited about this fight. Again, I know Chazz is training hard, so it's just making me train harder. I'm excited. You all should be excited, too."
Of his must-win performance, Witherspoon said, "This is going to be a big night for both of us, but I am going to be the one with my hand raised at the end of the fight."
