Football: It's On! Finally.

Congress and the White House may not have reached on deal on debt ceiling just yet, but thankfully NFL owners and players have.

A consensus was met earlier this week that was agreeable between all parties, forging ahead with what millions of fans, and players, have been waiting for since the NFL lockout took place last year: Training camp.

Isn't it odd that most players who hate summer training camps in brutal high degree heat, are now loving the thought of training camp when they were forced with the possibility of not having it?

It gives credence to the old adage: You never miss the water until the well is dry.

The Redskins have released their training camp schedule which starts this Saturday, July 30th. Eleven practices will open to fans, with Fan Appreciation Day on August 6.

The NFL lockout may be over, but the Redskins still have at least two players that may be 'locked out' of Redskins Park for good: Albert Haynesworth, and former Skins QB, Donovan McNabb.

What Happened To
Now that the lockout is over, maybe the powers that be can redesign the now defunct website, currently replaced with features a video by players and teams thanking fans for their support throughout the process.

Said Rashean Mathis, cornerback, Jacksonville Jaguars, “We were trying to make this game better, for those guys that played it in the past and the present and the future. We appreciate your support, and we look forward to a great football season. We got this thing done, now let’s play some ball.”

See video here.

The video has over 4 pages of fan responses, with several sentiments explained this way: "I love the NFL, but you are all still a bunch of money hungry douchebags".
