Mystics Playoff Bound!

The Washington Mystics have earned a playoff berth following an 80-71 victory over the Seattle Storm.

Monique Currie topped scoring for the Mystics with 25 points, five three-pointers. Crystal Langhorne added 15 points while Lindsey Harding added 13 to clinch the playoff win.

The win becomes the Mystics’ 19th victory - a franchise record.

Swin Cash led the Storm scoring 15 points in the effort, while two-time league MVP Lauren Jackson (returning to play action having missed last Friday's game with back spasms) showed a full recovery as she hammered in an amazing 14 points in twenty-five minutes.

Washington is currently two games out of first place with three games remaining in the regular season.

Playoff games are slated to begin on Wednesday, August 25. The winner of the three-game series will move to the Conference Finals.
