Let's Here It For The Nats! And Strasburg, Too!

Here's What A 14-Strikeout Victory Will Get You.

The area is all abuzz about the Nats winning 5-2 over the Pittsburg Pirates this week with the help of pitcher Stephen Strasburg.

Strasburg, the right-handed rookie, who brought the 'B' back in baseball for Washington, D.C. (we've had some issues) struck out 14 in seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits.

For the effort, Strasburg (the new sports phenom in town) will appear on the David Letterman Show tonight to deliver Letterman's Top Ten List.

Strasburg joins Oakland A's Dallas Braden, Mark Buehrle, Derek Jeter and Cole Hamels in the list of current Major Leaguers who have also delivered Letterman's Top Ten.

My number one DLTT for Strasburg will probably go a little something like this.

#10 - Who says baseball in Washington sucks, anymore?

Strasburg and the Nats, seemingly on a win streak, will again face Pittsburg tonight. The Nats defeated the Pirates 7-5 on Wednesday.

They face the Indians in Cleveland on Friday.

Note to readers..... We probably won't have much more on this topic, as we were told in past years from the Washington Nationals "we don't credential bloggers".
