Can you start off Washington sports in Springtime any better?

The Wizards get a win Sunday, (that there in itself is good news any day of the week) ending their tumultuous losing streak by defeating the New Jersey Nets 109-99, on the road nonetheless.

Andray Blatche, proving yet again that he can ball when he wants to (we'd like to see it more and more), was just shy of a triple-double, scoring 20 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds in the contest.

So impressive, even coach Flip Saunders had to give props where due, remarking that "Dre set the tone" when the team efforts got a little behind.

For the Nets, Brook Lopez and Devin Harris led the charge with 22 points a piece, while Nets' rookie Terrence Williams added fifteen.
