President Poised For Sports Broadcasting?

Our president attended the Georgetown v Duke University today where his broadcasting skills were put to the test.

When asked to call a play, the president impressed the game's two official play callers and told him "he could have a career in announcing ... for as long as he wishes."

The President responded jovially, by saying after retirement he'll be "coming for their jobs."

Regarding his thoughts on the two teams, the president said, "Obviously, two great teams".

Georgetown performed well for the president, beating Duke, 89-77.

Joining Mr. President at today's game were Vice President Joe Biden, the president's assistant, Reggie Love (I admire this guy), David Axelrod, Mona Sutphen, and White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

Almost a guys' night out, eh? Where's the First Lady?

[Notes - That White House pool report we get as media members was odd on several levels. Thankfully, there was video.]

[Question - Did John Thompson's visit to the White House earlier this month prompt the presidential Hoya visit? Just asking.]
