[Not Good] Felony Charge Given To Arenas

Gilbert Arenas has been charged with a felony for his role in transporting guns from Virginia to the District of Columbia and keeping them in his locker at his place of business, the Verizon Center.

A court document revealed the guns were unlicensed.

Earlier today, teammate Jarvaris Crittendon's home was searched after reports surfaced that Crittendon also had a gun, and may have smuggled the gun out of the locker room via a clothes bin. No gun was found at the Crittendon home.

The sequence of events for the team, and its members, just keeps getting, well, not good.

[Commentary] While we don't like to see bad things happen to people we know we still wish they would have used better judgement. In life, we all fall short, others fall hard.

But, (and there's always that) as a good friend once wrote, "we fall down, but we get back up again".

Here's hoping for a rebound.

Athletes make mistakes. What franchise in the history of sports doesn't have at least one of its members who screwed up?

Just up the road, 95N is a perfect example. Granted, dude wasn't charged, but damn, the implication is just as bad.

Gil we play somewhere. They always do.

I hope he gets through this. God Bless his family, and kids, at this time.
