Arenas Sentencing Delayed

Arenas Pleads Guilty

Entering through the rear doors of DC Superior court today, Gilbert Arenas' hearing left him dazed and confused as judge Robert E. Morin decided to reschedule the sentencing to March 26 at 2:30 pm.

Apparently there is more information than meets the eye as the judge prepares a pre-sentencing report.

It is important to note (according to the above mentioned web site) the following information as it pertains to pre-sentencing reports.
Currently, the Department of Justice has a 97% guilty plea rate in federal criminal cases. Federal prosecutors have over a 75% conviction rate following trial, and 91% of federal criminal defendants receive a prison sentence. It is no longer a question of will a federal defendant go to prison, it is now a question of how long will he/she will be there and where will he/she go. If this doesn’t convince a federal defendant to retain the services of a well-respected Federal Prison Consultant, then he must bear the consequences.
Is Gilbert's attorney aware of this?

All this mess over bringing guns (a semi-automatic Desert Eagle; a 500 magnum, Smith and Wesson revolver; a .45 caliber, black semi-automatic Kimber Eclipse with magazine; and a 9 millimeter Browning) to work.
