Capitals Cream The Panthers!

Go On 6-2 Scoring Frenzy

With the star player on ice (well, hiatus), the Washington Capitals score a big win over the Florida Panters Thursday night.

Alexander Semin (the other Alex), returning to action after being out for seven with a wrist injury, was fire on ice with two goals and two assists early in the contest.

He scored four on the night.

He was well-rested," said Caps' coach Bruce Boudreau. "He should have had a lot of energy."

The Caps posted a season-high 44 shots.
