98-110, 10-20

A Conversation Piece

Fan 1:Knock, knock!

Fan 2: Who's there?

F1: Wizards.

F2: Wizards who?

F1: The Washington Wizards lose to the Oklahoma Thunder, 98-110 tonight at the Verizon Center. They now fall 10-20 on the season.

F2: What happened?

F1: Kevin Durant's 35 points proved too much for the Wizard men.

F2: Is there anything that can help this team?

F1: Man, I don't know.

F2: What do the stats look like? What does this team need to do to get better?

F1: Coach Saunders said the team can't guard anyone, and he didn't sugarcoat anything. He's no Jim Zorn. He said...
"I can go out there on that floor and take anybody on our team, one-on-one, and at 52 [years old] drive right around them."

F2: Ouch! That's bad when the head coach makes an assessment like that!

F1: It's bad watching them lose night-after-night-after-night, after night.

Quit giving away games when you have the lead.

Fouls hurt this team. Especially the unnecessary ones.
