Wizards Capture A Win In Cleveland

The Wizards win over the Cavaliers in Cleveland, 109-104, in preseason action under their new head coach Flip Saunders.

New recruits, Mike Miller and Randy Foye added 24, and 21 points respectively, while teammate Gilbert 'I Ain't Talkin' Arenas, added 18 on the night. Andray Blatche added sixteen points to help seal the win.

Antawn Jamison sustained a partial dislocation in his shoulder and, at this point, is out for the remainder of the preseason.

Cleveland’s high scorer was Jawad Williams with 21 points. Cleveland played without LeBron James, who was reported having flu-like symptoms (as were other Cavalier players). Cleveland standout, DeLonte West , who is still handling a personal (legal) matter that took place this summer, was also MIA. Newly acquired Cavalier, Shaquille O'Neal had 13 points in the contest.

The Wizards are 3-2 in PSA (preseason action) and have five other games on the road before their last preseason game at home, October 31st, against New Jersey. Check out the schedule here.
