More Skins preseason action. The Skins have three more PS games after tonight. They'll face NFL Superbowl champs, the Pittsburgh Steelers on the 22nd, followed a week later with a matchup with the New England Patriots on the 28th. The fourth, and final pre-season game will be agaisnt the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Sept. 3.

Preseason games DO matter. They set the tone for the rest of the season and show the players and coaches what they're working with, and where they need to improve.

It's a scrimmage of sorts against another team to grade where you are and how far you need to go.

Even though it doesn't count as part of the regular season records, it's necessary.

And yes, Redskins and Ravens are rivals. They are up the street, up the Beltway rivals.

The Skins (and other teams) already have pre-season injuries. It will be interesting to see how they will fare going forward. Even so, I'm pulling for the Skins. I know they have a good team this season.
