Celebrating The Life of Wayman Tisdale

Former Oklahoma Sooner, jazz artist, and NBA player Wayman Tisdale was laid to rest today.

Tisdale lost his battle with cancer last week at the very young age of 44.

Tisdale's body arrived at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa by horse-drawn carriage where thousands came out to remember him. (See the jazzy entrance).

Those who paid tribute during the service included bassist Marcus Miller, Toby Keith, Dave Koz, and Tulsa, Oklahoma Mayor, Kathy Taylor.

Local D.C. business man, Raynard Jackson, host of 'Talking Right With Raynard Jackson' spoke to former NBA star, Spud Webb about their mutual friend. Download it here.
