Ravens defeat Tennessee 13-10. Advance to AFC Title game.

Stepping Down
Indiannapolis Colts, Tony Dungy to retire as head coach. Associate coach, Jim Caldwell to be the successor.

NBA
Wizards struggle to defeat Charlotte. Lose 92-89.

Inaugural Hoops
Redskins' Clinton Portis and Santana Moss, Bad Boy Records' Day 26, Grammy-nominee Raheem DeVaughn, and Anwar "Big G" Glover of HBO's "The Wire", along with a who's who cast of athletes and celebrities will battle at the 2009 Celebrity Inaugural Basketball Game at Coolidge Senior High School, raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington. Miami’s Tim Tebow plans to return to Florida and resume QB responsibilities after leading his team to a 24-14 victory in the B.C.S. title game on Thursday.


Some pro scouts wondered if Tebow (2007 Heisman winner) could transition well in to the NFL.
