The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) released the league’s 2009 schedule today.
The Washington Mystics will kick off the team’s 12th season on the road on Saturday June 6th against the Connecticut Sun at 4:00 p.m. Washington will host the club’s home opener on Sunday, June 7th at 7:00 p.m. against the Atlanta Dream.
The Mystics’ annual camp day game for local children’s camps and groups will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 11:30 a.m. against 2008 WNBA Championship finalist, the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Earlier this month, you may recall, the Mystics acquired Matee Ajavon.
