Washington Mystics Introduce Julie Plank As New Head Coach.
As we hinted last week, the Washington Mystics have selected their new head coach.
In a press conference today, members of the media, season ticket holders, and fans were on hand for the introduction of Julie Plank.
Plank brings twenty years of coaching experience to the Mystics with an emphasis on player development. Ms. Plank was assistant coach with the Indiana Fever and the team's director of scouting, where she helped lead the team to four playoff appearances, including the 2005 and 2007 Eastern Conference Finals.
"Julie brings a winning resume and attitude to the Mystics family", said Mystics COO, Great Bibb.
