There's No Place Like Home!

The Washington Wizards host the Detroit Pistons tonight in their preseason home opener.

The Wizards return to DC after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 89-80, and losing to the Dallas Mavs 108-82, during preseason action.

Returning to the Wizards line-up is EtanThomas who had this to say about his return:

"I think it's going to be great, just getting my timing back and playing in an actual game."

"I feel good and I've been working hard and playing hard.

The preseason home opener also finds rookie, JaVale McGee, making his Washington, D.C. début. McGee had 20 points in the win against Memphis.

Juan Dixon has also returned to the Wizards lineup, being added to the roster late this summer.

The Wizards are without their star guard, Gilbert Arenas, as well as Antawn Jamison, who are both out with knee injuries.

The Wizards lost Roger Mason, Jr. during the summer in free agency trade to the San Antonio Spurs.

Good luck Wizards. Gil needs to just let his knee get better on its own so we can have him throughout the next 3-5 years.
