Howard University's Women's Volleyball Team Extends Win Streak!

BALTIMORE, MD. - The Lady Bison volleyball team extended its win streak to four matches on Tuesday when they swept Loyola (Md.) 3-0 (26-24, 26-24, 25-23) in a non-conference matchup in Baltimore.

With the win, Howard improves to 7-13 while the Greyhounds fall to 4-15. The contest was hard fought and featured 24 lead changes and 39 ties.

Sophomore Gazelle d'Artois paced HU with a match-high 19 kills. d'Artois also chipped in eight digs, one service ace and hit .224 for the contest.

Senior Janel James led the Bison in digs with 17. Setter Grace DeMichelis contributed 33 assists.

Nina Camaioni led Loyola with a double-double of 15 kills and 20 digs. Kristen Muscarella added 36 assists and 11 digs.

Howard will look to make it five straight when they return to league action on Sunday with a matchup against Hampton. Game time at Burr Gymnasium is set for 2 pm.
