Sir Issac Hayes, the sultry R&B singer who passed last weekend of a reported stroke, had previously partnered with the Memphis Heart Clinic Campaign to promote healthy lifestyles.

An ad that was scheduled to air during the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics was rightly pulled.

"The clinic wanted to show respect for Hayes' family", said Deborah Coble, a spokeswoman for the clinic who helped make the commercials.
