Blatche, Blatche, Blatche

It's been reported that Wizards' star, Andray Blatche was arrested earlier this week for 'speeding', and driving with a suspended license.

Now, we all know this Wizard has had summertime trouble before.

Perhaps he didn't read my earlier posting in the DC UrbanSports blog related to summertime fun.

Let's hope Andray gets it together before he needs a real Wizard to get him out of some real trouble.

Slow down, Andray, slow down.

Here's my eariler posting on summertime (and anytime) behavior, in case you missed it!

"I'm so tired of hearing about, and reading about, talented athletes, individuals, especially young people with so much potential, getting caught up.

Caught up in steroid use, fighting, betting on games, weapons charges, the list goes on.

Here's another athlete who took the wrong turn.

It's even worse when you take others down with you.

I'm not preaching, but it just hurts and saddens me to learn that individuals with so much potential could waste everything, including their freedom.

With summer just around the corner, I offer these words of advice...

Please just stop and think about what you're doing. If you know it's wrong, just DON'T DO IT!

No matter what your home boys/home girls say, no matter how much money and notoriety you THINK it may garner you, just say NO.

Nothing is more precious than freedom, life, family, and good health.

If you've got those things, you're blessed already. (Good looks and a Nike contract wouldn't hurt either)."
