AD to DC (Again)

DC has its own AntMan

Anthony Davis has been traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Washington Wizards.

From his 'humble' beginnings as a member of the 2012 NCAA championship Kentucky Wildcats where he and his teammates were honored by President Barack Obama at the White House, to being the latest member of our house, Davis has become a manifestation of a bold prediction.

Anthony Davis traded to the Wizards.

"Maybe one of them will land in D.C.", said President Obama about six of the Wildcat players who were drafted in the 2012 NBA draft. (My, time has flown by.)

See Wildcats Invade Washington!

Since then, Davis has played for the Charlotte Hornets (first overall pick), the Los Angeles Lakers, and comes to the Wizards from the Dallas Mavericks where he averages 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Also in the Mavericks player trade to DC were Dante Exum, Jaden Hardy and D'Angelo Russell. (I'll let you be the judge of their performance stats, as I insert my thoughts below.)

WE NEED BALLERS!!!!!!

The Wizards (knowing they need help if they want to save the franchise this season), have been on a monstrous losing streak, winning just 13 of  their last 49 games as of this posting.

The team lost to the Knicks at home last night, 132-102, giving the Knicks their 7th straight win in a row. (See the lo-lights here.)

While no mention of the trade on his official X account at @AntDavis23, I sure hope Davis has the attitude of - Let me take my talents to DC and see if I can help these Wizards win a championship.

That's my bold prediction.
