The Washington Football team is preparing to meet their all-time, storied division rival, the Dallas Cowboys, Sunday, December 12.
The home team is riding high off four consecutive wins after a disappointing season start. After the team's Bye Week, the team is in a different mindset, the likes of which fans have not seen in many seasons. The team started playing competitive NFL football and winning, at the same time.
Let's recap, shall we?
Since November 14th the team has defeated some admirable teams in their own right, including last year's Super Bowl champions Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers (29-19). The WFT showed resilience as they narrowly took down Russell Wilson and his Seahawks (17-15); had a matching score against Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders and shattered the hopes of the Carolina Panthers reunion with Cam Newton (27-21).
Four teams in the last four weeks. Four wins (in the last four weeks).
With a win streak like that there's nothing left to do but win against the number one team in the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys - minus Montez sweat (COVID-19 list), Logan Thomas and Chase Young, both out with season-ending knee injuries, mind you.
Here's how the two teams match up. (H/T Z. Selby)
