Two's the Charm.
(DC UrbanSports) - The Number 2 was the lucky number for up and coming boxers in last night's amateur boxing event at the DC Convention Center.
These ready-to-go boxers took two rounds, or less, to defeat their willing (but seemingly, not ready) opponents.
Alexander Johnson defeated his opponent, Simon Ruvalcaba, :38 into the second round of the contest to improve his record to 14-1, with 6 KOs.
Another easy knockout on the evening came when Brandon Quarles stopped Jimmy LeBlanc :42, also of Round 2.
Lasting longer than two rounds was DC's Joshua "Marvelous Moe" Parker who won a four-round majority decision over Luis Rodriguez of Miami, FL.
