The Washington Mystics will host the New York Liberty on Friday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Verizon Center.
The Mystics kicked off the season with back to back wins against the Indiana Fever and the Minnesota Lynx. Monique Currie led the way for the team and is currently the league leader in points with 24.0 points per outing while Crystal Langhorne is ranked 10th in rebounds per game with 8.5.
The 2010 roster features perennial all-star Katie Smith, 2009 Most Improved Player; Crystal Langhorne, as well as rising stars Lindsey Harding and Marissa Coleman. Also added were guard Matee Ajavon and newly acquired guard Ashley Hout.
The Mystics will hold a wine and cheese event prior to the game from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the Dewar's Club located on the second floor of Verizon Center.
