MEAC Track & Field Athlete Of The Week

Honor Goes To Landria Buckley

Senior Landria Buckley (Romulus, Mich./Romulus H.S.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced yesterday.

Buckley won two individual titles at the Bucknell Bison Opener. The senior provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship with a first-place time of 8.42 in the 60m hurdles and captured the gold in the 200m dash with a time of 24.39. Buckley was also a member of the 4x400m relay team that finished in fourth with a time of 3:59.59.

Howard is off for a few weeks, returning to action on Jan. 9 at the Father Diamond Invite in Fairfax, Va.
