Washington Wizards guard, Randy Foye shed a little Christmas cheer this afternoon for five bright, young students.
Taujaun, Leoesa, Andre, Aniya, and Amani Cannaday were treated with a limo ride from their home to the Target store at Potomac Yard earlier today where they filled their shopping carts with toys of their choice.
Mom Theresa, said of the occasion, "It's been a real blessing."
The shopping spree is part of the Washington Wizards' 12 Days of Holiday Cheer which kicked off earlier this month.
Other Wizards participating throughout the month have included Mike James' 'Movie Night' for military families, Gilbert Arenas' Meet-and-Great through the Make a Wish Foundation, and Mike Miller who treated a few guests to a limo ride, gifts, and tickets to a Wizards' game.
"It's good just to see the kids happy", said Foye.
Among the items the Cannaday family received: bikes, dolls, clothes, and a new friend, courtesy of the Washington Wizards family.
The Holiday giving continues throughout the month of December.
