Wizards - Nearly Lose - Hold On To Finish With A Win!
The Wizards nearly escape with a win over the Sacramento Kings last evening at the Verizon Center. They knocked off the Kings 106-104 after losing a strong lead early in the first half. The shot heard around the NBA deemed a two-pointer! See game highlights.
SunTrust National Marathon and Half Marathon
The 4th Annual SunTrust National Marathon and Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2009. A sold out half marathon field of 5,000 and a full marathon field of 3,000 runners will wind through six of the eight wards in Washington, D.C. The race course will be lined with volunteers, local school cheer squads, neighbors, and spectators showing their support, welcoming runners to their neighborhoods and rooting them on to the finish line.
