I was impressed with the Wizards' near win over arguably the best NBA team in the league, the Los Angeles Lakers this past weekend.
I'm even more elated that they won last evening over the Detroit Pistons, 107-94, especially after falling behind by as many as 17 points in the first half.

"I just walked down the bench and said we are better than we are playing and we need to bring more energy to everything we are doing," said Interim Head Coach Ed Tapscott on the message he sent to the team. "We just have to get ourselves moving and don't panic. I asked every guy who went in the game to commit to that before entering the game. I told them don't worry about the score; we are going to get back in the game and just be aggressive. When we play with energy and move the ball, all of a sudden we look like a different team."A new look, a new coach, whatever it is, Wizards, keep it up!
