Jimmy Lange (29-3-2), deemed Northern Virginia’s ‘Come Back Kid’, won his largely anticipated bout against Grover Wiley (30-12-1,14 KOs) this past Saturday at George Mason’s Patriot Center in a ten-round unanimous decision.

The Wizards rallied against the Pistons, but lost 117-109. Antawn Jamison was the team's leading scorer with 24 points, while Caron Butler added 21 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Howard University Swim and Diving Teams Meet Defeat
The Howard swimming and diving teams fell to Gardner Webb and North Carolina A&T in a duel meet Saturday morning in Washington, D.C. The Bison men were downed 118-80 by Gardner Webb while the women's squad fell 53-42 to the Aggies and 64-31 to the Runnin Bulldogs.
In HU basketball, the men's Fright Night basketball game has been rescheduled for November 8th.
