Despite the double overtime homecoming loss (click here) to Morgan State, 31-30, Howard University homecoming still had a lot of winning qualities.
Meet My New Favorite Athlete
Not only is David Oliver ridiculously handsome and athletic, he has the smile, charm, intellect, and personality every mother wants in a son.
Standing every bit 6'2", David greeted each fan at Howard's YardFest on Friday, smiling and taking pictures (I snagged one with him, and also took the photo on the right side of photo #1, and those below),
and also wowed the female audience (and I suspect a few males) at the homecoming fashion show Friday evening as he graced the run-way (he's on the right) with fellow Howard alumni Lance Gross.
Oliver and Gross were also Grand Marshalls in the HU homecoming parade on Saturday morning.
And oh, yeah. I guess I should mention that David is a 110-meter hurdles Bronze Medalist of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. His time...13.18 seconds! Congrats David!
He's also friends with this guy, and his fam.

[Other personalities who made appearances during Homecoming: Actor turned recording artist, Terrence Howard (Homecoming Grand Marshall); Grammy nominated recording artist, Raheem DeVaughn; Omarosa Manigault Stallworth; America's Next Top Model, Camille; boxing promoter, Rock Newman; Steve Harvey, my fav ESPN sports analyst, Stephen A. Smith; Diddy; Rudy (from the Cosby Show - all grown up), and a whole host of others. See fashion show pics].
